New student applications will be considered after we receive the following information:
Upon receipt of the items listed above, the Admissions Office will schedule a formal student interview with the admissions committee or principal. Once completed and a recommendation is made for acceptance, we will email the family. You can then finish enrollment and pay the annual fee. Our finance department will contact you to make an appointment to finish the tuition contract.
The admissions process is designed to introduce prospective students and their families to the mission, philosophy and programs of Knoxville Christian School, and for the admissions committee to learn about the academic and personal qualities of each applicant. Our goal is to maximize the probability of a successful school experience for each student at Knoxville Christian School.
Applicants are reviewed in the order they are received and applicants who meet admissions standards are accepted, give the availability of space in a class. Knoxville Christians School may take other factors into consideration such as academic records, siblings in the school or children of former students. All admissions decisions are made independent of financial considerations. Knoxville Christian School admits students of any race, creed and nationality or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
Following closed enrollment for current students, Knoxville Christian School opens enrollment to new, prospective families.
Knoxville Christian School offers a closed enrollment period in January and February each year to allow current families the opportunity to re-enroll for the following school year. New, prospective families are encouraged to complete the application process as soon as possible during this time and will be placed on a waiting list. Pending availability per class selection, Knoxville Christian School will inform new families of accepted class positions at the beginning of March.
