Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach
Knoxville Christian School is seeking a Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach to lead and develop our middle school boys basketball program. This is an opportunity for a Christian coach who enjoys working with young men and sees athletics as an opportunity to develop character, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and basketball skills.Responsibilities
- Lead the Middle School Boys Basketball program in alignment with the mission and values of Knoxville Christian School.
- Plan and conduct organized, purposeful, and age-appropriate practices.
- Teach and develop fundamental basketball skills and team concepts.
- Coach scheduled games and tournaments.
- Establish a positive team culture built on effort, accountability, respect, and teamwork.
- Encourage student-athletes to grow spiritually, academically, personally, and athletically.
- Model Christ-like character, sportsmanship, integrity, and respect toward players, parents, officials, and opponents.
- Communicate professionally with student-athletes, parents, the Athletic Director, and school administration.
- Maintain appropriate supervision and safety of student-athletes.
- Work collaboratively with the KCS basketball coaching staff and Athletic Department.
- Follow all KCS policies, procedures, and athletic requirements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:- Have a strong Christian testimony and support the mission of Knoxville Christian School.
- Have knowledge and experience in basketball; previous coaching experience is preferred.
- Enjoy working with middle school students.
- Be a positive, encouraging, organized, and dependable leader.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Be committed to developing young men both on and off the court.
- Be willing to complete required coaching training and certifications.

Knoxville Christian School is seeking a caring, dependable individual to serve in our Aftercare Program for K–5th grade students.
Our Aftercare team provides a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for students who remain on campus after the school day. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to contribute to the KCS community.
Position Details
- Position: Aftercare Program Staff
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, on regular school days
- Hours: 3:15–5:30 p.m.
- Pay: $15 per hour
- Students: Kindergarten–5th grade
- Typical Group Size: Approximately 8 students, although enrollment may vary
- Background Check Required
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for K–5th grade students during aftercare
- Provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment
- Assist students with activities, games, homework, and other appropriate after-school activities
- Encourage respectful behavior and positive interactions among students
- Maintain appropriate safety and supervision at all times
- Communicate with parents/guardians in a friendly and professional manner
- Support the mission, values, and Christ-centered environment of Knoxville Christian School
Who We're Looking For
