Knoxville Christian School is seeking a caring, dependable individual to serve in our Aftercare Program for K–5th grade students.

Our Aftercare team provides a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for students who remain on campus after the school day. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to contribute to the KCS community.

Position Details

• Position: Aftercare Program Staff
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, on regular school days
• Hours: 3:15–5:30 p.m.
• Pay: $15 per hour
• Students: Kindergarten–5th grade
• Typical Group Size: Approximately 8 students, although enrollment may vary
• Background Check Required

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for K–5th grade students during aftercare
• Provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment
• Assist students with activities, games, homework, and other appropriate after-school activities
• Encourage respectful behavior and positive interactions among students
• Maintain appropriate safety and supervision at all times
• Communicate with parents/guardians in a friendly and professional manner
• Support the mission, values, and Christ-centered environment of Knoxville Christian School

Prior classroom experience is helpful but not required. The most important qualities are a genuine care for children, dependability, and a willingness to be part of the KCS community.
